The law of attraction simply states that you attract to you whatever you focus your mind on most. Taking this definition into consideration, we can see that the law of attraction can be very helpful in weight loss.

How the law of attraction works

As stated above, with the law of attraction, like attracts like. If you sit around and think about eating hamburgers all day, what do you think you’re going to do the first chance you get? You’re going to run down to the local burger joint and get the biggest, juiciest burger in town! If you’re really bad, you might even get two.

On the other hand, if you concentrate your mind on exercise and nutrition, it will be much easier to choose healthier foods over junk foods. You’ll be more willing to exert your energy into exercise more often.

How the LOA works for weight loss

Let’s factor all this into the equation of weight loss. Can the law of attraction truly help you to lose weight?

The truth is that just thinking about losing weight will never make the pounds melt off your hips and thighs. Dreaming about being skinny again will never make you skinny. There’s one tiny piece of the puzzle missing—a piece only you hold. ACTION

The law of attraction can serve you well by creating a more positive and focused mindset towards your weight loss goals. But you must be willing to kick-start your body’s weight loss process by getting up and taking action for yourself.

Does the law of attraction work for weight loss? Yes. But only when you apply some elbow-grease action behind your thoughts.

Goal Setting Process

Setting goals is an important part of climbing the ladder of success. If you don’t have a vision for where you want to be one day, how will you ever get there? The actual process of setting goals for yourself is easy. Let’s take a look at how to do it…

First, dream a little dream. Goals come from the dreams that are deep within your heart and mind. What dreams do you have for yourself? Can you imagine yourself in the future? What do you see? Dreams are at the core of every goal.

Next, be precise. When you set a goal, you want to be as specific as possible. Don’t make generalized plans. Drill down deep so your goal will be clear and targeted. When you do this, there will be absolutely no questions about what you want or how to get it.

Third, give yourself a deadline. A goal with no deadline is like driving a car without a steering wheel. You’ll never get where you want to go. When setting your deadline, make sure you give yourself enough time to complete your goal, but not so much time that you actually lose sight of your goal.

Finally, track your progress. One of the second biggest reasons why so many people give up on their goals is because they don’t see their own progress. Create a “ladder” that you can use to keep track of where you’re going, as well as how far you’ve come. You’ll be surprised at how motivating this can be.

Create Abundance And Prosperity

When you read those two words—abundance and prosperity—where your first thoughts directed towards monetary images? This is often true of many people, and that is why so many people miss the boat on having more in their life and being happier and at peace.

The term abundance is used frequently with regards to the law of attraction. It is commonly mistaken as a term that refers to money or worldly gain. However, abundance actually refers to anything in your life.

Some different ways you can attract abundance and prosperity in your life include:

  • more time
  • less stress
  • better friendships
  • less financial burdens
  • a better, more positive attitude
  • wiser
  • more trusting
  • more trustworthy

As you can see from this very short list, abundance and prosperity create a better life overall, not just in the area of money alone. This list could grow on even longer if you begin to add your own ideas to it.

Prosperity, like abundance, sometimes makes people think about having lots of money. The truth is, we all have exactly what we need. Sometimes we just aren’t very wise with what we’re given.

People often complain and whine when they fall behind on their bills or don’t have the extra money to spend on frivolous things. The key to remember is that more will come your way when you get smart with what you have right now. Are you paying your bills on time? Are you conscious about your spending habits?

Creating abundance and prosperity is simple. Don’t think that you can wish for more money or time and it will fall in your lap. Make a plan. Start figuring out ways to be smarter with your time and money. Eventually, you’ll find yourself feeling more abundant and prosperous than you ever imagined.
